TERMS AND CONDITIONS AGREEMENT
This proprietary agreement (hereinafter “Agreement”) is a legal binding contract between the Institute of Global Leadership (hereinafter “IGL”) and the undersigned individual (hereinafter “you”). Please read this agreement in full.
Please contact us to discuss any questions you may have.
1. OUTLINE OF AGREEMENT
- 1.1. IGL agrees to provide an experiential learning and coaching program (IGL Training).
1.2. In this agreement, any reference to IGL includes all instructors, trainers, coaches, mentors, and volunteers, all of whom are employed by or act on behalf of IGL.
1.3. IGL reserves the right to make any change, alteration or amendment on the schedule, structure, content and delivery of the products and services. The changes are communicated with affected parties in writing.
2. DEFINITION OF THE SERVICES
2.1. The Institute of Global Leadership (IGL) programme is an experiential, interactive, and action-oriented educational programme designed to enhance personal effectiveness. The programme addresses all dimensions of human nature: intellectual, emotional, physical, and spiritual. To get the full benefit of the programme, you must be engaged and committed, willing to fully participate in all activities and exercises.
3. LIMITATIONS OF SERVICES AND LIMITED LIABILITY
3.1. Part of your pre-training registration is to review and sign this Agreement.
3.2. By signing this Agreement, you will be agreeing to:
3.2.1. Assume full responsibility for your participation in the training.
3.2.2. Not sue IGL.
3.2.3. To settle by arbitration any disputes that may arise.
3.2.4. Follow any changes to this agreement on this web site.
3.2.5. Fully participate in all training sessions, exercises and processes.
3.3. IGL trainers and staff reserve the right throughout the entire training to exclude people from the training for any reason.
3.4. Childhood Trauma
3.4.1. For the vast majority of participants, the IGL leadership training increases personal effectiveness and overall satisfaction in life. However, the programme is not intended to be, or substitute for, any kind of therapy or counselling environment. Psychological disorders are not addressed in the Institute of Global Leadership training. The IGL staff are not trained mental health professionals nor are they trained to treat psychological problems or provide treatment to an emotionally or psychologically distressed person. People who mistake the IGL programme for an alternative to therapy may experience adverse consequences. If you have, or believe you may have, a problem requiring psychological treatment, we urge you to consult with a qualified professional.
3.4.2. The IGL training focuses primarily on your adult life and is not designed to directly help you sort out or resolve early childhood trauma. If you were traumatized in childhood by physical or sexual abuse or other forms of extreme emotional violence, consult with a qualified professional before continuing with the training.
3.4.3. It is possible for people with painful childhood experiences to successfully complete the training programme. Some portions of the training could, however, inadvertently revive painful memories. We request that you carefully consider all aspects of such childhood experiences before making the decision to participate in this training programme.
3.5. IGL does not guarantee any results or make any health claims.
3.6. Although the programmes have great benefits, results are dependent on a number of factors including, but not limited to, your commitment to the training, full participation, and existing health conditions.
3.7. Any testimonials and examples do not guarantee that you will achieve the same or similar results.
3.8. IGL does not provide medical, legal, investment, health, or business advice. All opinions are provided for your consideration and should not be solely relied upon. It is your responsibility to obtain professional advice if so required.
